Reviewing
Katy Truss, our founder, is a food writer, blogger and product reviewer. She had a regular column highlighting local food heroes in BBC Good Food Magazine, along with review features for BBCGoodFood.com. She has written a number of food articles including a 'small is good' feature promoting small producers in Olive Magazine.
Promoting food and drink producers
We've been scouring the country for fabulous food and drink for decades! The hunt officially began when Katy Truss began working for the BBC Good Food Shows in 2007. It was then she became a professional food finder, searching for fabulous food and drink producers at food festivals, markets and food shop shelves to feature at the shows.
Tasting Expertise and Judging
Katy regularly judges for the Great Taste Awards and BBC Good Food Taste Tests and uses her expertise to approve producers for the BBC Good Food Show Food Champions scheme.
Katy is an Academy of Cheese Level 1 Associate and is always looking to learn more about food and drink.
